Thought I would inform Anderson and the public that I am a mechanic and I had them look at my 84 k20 350 because I didn't have time at the time to mess with it I also had a messed up back at the time. had them try to figure out some stuff with carb it was sputtering and cutting out just wasnt running right and a engine noise that I thought was strange but yet very minor. This motor is new might I add fresh rebuild that I myself built correctly at the time might have had 700 miles. They tried to to return it to me and had the nerve to say oh it's got a bad rod and piston. Okay so that was more than 2 years ago, it still running to this day zero issues after MYSELF fixed the issues of it not running right when I was back to being mobile again. I havnt had one issue I inspected the piston myself and cylinder walls everything was healthy good oil pressure I loaded 1 ton of rock in the bed for about 100 miles straight and put that motor to a good test but does have a 3 speed with granny low so that does help but it was 105 degrees out and the temp stayed 180 the whole time ran better than any other truck I ever owned. Since then I have used it as a plow truck for hours and hours zero problems. Motor sounds good and healthy. If you run a shop you can't miss diagnose a BaD rOd AnD pIsToN. They were just tired of messing with it and wanted to give me bad news. Or they are just stupid 🤷 hire me and I'll make your whole shop look like a pre school class. You never know who is having yall work on there vehicle could be a full blown mechanic themselves or it could be a computer engineer dont take that chance 😁

I was out of town and needed an oil change before driving back to Iowa. I reluctantly got an oil change while I was in Olathe, knowing they would tell me something else was wrong with my truck, as this has happened at other places. Sure enough, they told me I had a coolant leak. I immediately made an appointment with my hometown mechanic to check it out on my return home the following week. They did a complete check and did not find any signs of a leak or anything else wrong with my truck. This is why i dont trust anyone else with my truck. Too many mechanics try to take advantage of women.
