Ordered new rear F350 SRW springs to replace worn out stock, WOW. No sagging loaded with gravel and shipping was reasonable. Very happy! Before (not very full) after (fully loaded)

I bought the 1750 heavy duty springs and they were delivered within 3 days. The installation was not difficult and my truck has never driven better especially, when I'm fully loaded. I'd rather buy from General spring over any of my local Auto parts stores. IMHO why pay 500 for Doorman or Duralast OEM springs when you can upgrade for the same price.

I ordered springs for the front of my 2001 F250 Super Duty 7.3L diesel plow truck. There are three load capacity springs available, OE, HD and XHD. My truck likely had HD springs because of the heavier diesel engine. I ordered the XHD since I run almost exclusively with a plow on. I had considered adding air bags to the front, but since I had to replace the springs due to a broken leaf, it was less work and more economical to just replace with the XHD springs. General Spring had the best price when considering the cost of the springs and shipping. They shipped quickly. and I have them installed so I'm ready for winter. The XHD are keeping the front ride height higher as I had hoped they would.

don't even waste your time... i tried to order a set of rear leaf spring shackles for my 62 mercury comet. i told kelly over the phone the shackles i have are offset shackles. he assured me that FS-765 was the right kit. spent $188 after all said and done for 2 shackles. i get them and they are not offset, they are rare parts 35111 shackles which aren't even for a comet 2dr( the correct rare parts shackle would be 35565), nor do the bushings fit in the frame. i called back and explained it to him and he once again told me i was wrong and these were the right parts. i explained that the bushing dont even fit in the frame and he told me the kit doesnt come with bushing? are you kidding me do you even know what your selling? waste of time, waste of money.

General Spring of Kansas City has incredibly great products and service. I have a 2004 ZR2 Blazer that was in need of a set of rear leafs. I went with the 1300# springs over the original 3 leaf 1100# ZR2s because I use a hitch haul and occasionally pull a small trailer. Now sits at perfect ride height and drives better than when it was new. Unbelievable fast shipping, arrived in two days plus great support. Was contacted to make sure I had received them and in good condition. And a second time to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Wish I’d done the replacement years ago.
