I have used Snodgrass several times in the past for repairs, ordering new parts, etc. I was unaware of any other places near the area that provided these services, so kind of just stuck with them. Each time I had taken in a car, the job took a *long* time. Had to order a new wheel at one point, and they had my car for 2 and a half weeks (a job Discount Tire can do within a few days). Much more recently, I had gotten in a fender bender. Took my car in for someone to take a look, and brought my insurance estimate. I have now gone there for 5 days (as they asked me to), and they still haven't even looked to sourcing my parts. Each time, they ask me to call and remind them to look into it. Each time I call, they tell me they are busy but will have it by the end of the day. Rinse and repeat. After being told to remind them to do their job for the umpteenth time, I just stopped calling. Haven't heard any updates since then. Took my car in to US Customs Collision and Repair (also in Joplin), and they have already sourced my parts and have them ordered, within 30 minutes of talking to them the first time. I guess if you have a lot of time to kill, or just dont need a job done quickly, this is the place to go. If you DO need your car, (like most of us), I'd much more highly recommend any other shop in Joplin. Again, "timely manner" does not seem to be in this shop's toolkit.

Friendly staff
I was unable to fix a broken control arm, a busted break line and some other alignment issues on my '99 Dodge Dakota. Took it to a shop in Joplin they turned me down to "too much rust". So I took it in to Snodgrass and Mike and his crew took really good care of my truck fixed everything perfectly and was extremely transparent throughout the whole process. I'm not sure why there have been comments on jobs taking forever...(Maybe insurance companies slowing things down) My truck was an open and shut job in a day and half.. fair prices and knowledge team here at Snodgrass. A+++
