Gave me a comprehensive understanding of priorities for my own car. Pictures, breakdown of test results, verbal conversation,, Tom was great! It was illuminating for the modern mechanic. (With the right tools, I can totally do those things.) Worth the diagnostic, and trust they could fix everything wrong with my little Honda if I cannot. I trust the prices they would offer. Cross your fingers for me!! Thank you so much for the education. Appreciated.

Cost of repair was outrageous compared to anyone in a 40 mile radius ( more then double) and was higher then the dealer 😮. If I wasn’t in a bad spot ( over heating ) and was closer ( broke down on way home from the lake) I would had just took it somewhere else. But I felt as if they knew they had me. You claim your prices was competitive to local shops. I challenge you to pick up the phone and make the calls yourself to find out that that’s not true! I lived a hour away, had that not been the case I would had just picked it up and took it elsewhere. Water pump and thermostat replacement on a 06 Yukon 5.3. I was charged $770.00 . People call around for yourselves 🤨

I'm sorry you feel our pricing was out of line. When your vehicle was dropped off and inspected, you were contacted with an estimate prior to any repairs being performed and had the opportunity to decline service at that time. We strive to verify our pricing is in line and competitive with area shops. Comparing our estimate to Repair Pal the water pump replacement on your vehicle was right in line with what other shops in the area are charging. The Repair Pal estimate does not take into account taxes or diagnostic charges or the additional part cost of replacing your thermostat. When calling other shops and price checking work, estimates can vary greatly due to the fact that a phone estimate can only take into account the bare minimum to perform the service and the vehicle has not been properly inspected at their shop. I doubt our price for peforming the repair on your vehicle was twice as much as any shop in the area if they performed the exact same service because if we were to cut our price in half on this repair it would have put the cost of service below the cost of purchasing the parts and paying our employess.

Great service as usual Called Wolff's to schedule service on my 2006 Honda Element. Car was running horrible and dying frequently. Code showed a misfire on cylinder #1. Tom said it may need a valve adjustment and provided a detailed written/emailed breakdown of all mechanical issues with vehicle including cost of repair of my immediate concern. Had the vehicle repaird in 24 hours and it runs better than it has in a long long time. Thanks guys for your honesty and expertise. Steve Ross
