My first interaction with FHT Inc was a rental car issue that happened in Texas. Flint Hills Towing was able to correct an issue that another rental company created. I've since interacted with FHT twice using their services to move equipment. Both interactions have been smooth and easy. I highly recommend using this company.
Quoted $150 for a 10-minute jump-start. Ended up, fixing 1 wire, a total of 10 minutes of labor. Charged double. There are plenty of local guys to come out and to help a fellow trucker in Emporia, KS -- save yourself a frustration: chose someone else. oh, and NTTS guys, when you dig to repute your advertisers - they mention NTTS but don't honor it; just so you know.

May 25, 2023He quoted you $150 to jumpstart over phone per your explanation of the your problem. Once on scene….he ran diagnostics test determined there was ground problem and started tracing short. Found bad connection repaired connection. NEVER jump started. So when bill was made out it was explained that service call and one hour labor shop supplies and ntts discount was added and sales tax to total of bill. Failure upon YOUR diagnosis we didn’t charge initial $150 like quoted because we didn’t perform those services. I am sorry that my tech found the problem and repaired it promptly. I am sorry that we charged for services that were performed and NEVER overcharged that wasn’t done. We are sorry that you’re not happy that we repaired your truck got your driver back on the road.
Amazing service, called and was very helpful about getting me on the direction on who to call and get my trailer tires changed out!

My young adult son had a car accident in where we considered to be the "middle of nowhere", somewhere near Emporia, KS; 1100 miles away from home. It was around 11:30 at night, FHT was there within 15 minutes after they was dispatched. Without even a question the Flint Hills Towing driver helped my son to gather personal items from the wracked car, told my son he would give him a ride to a local hotel and gave him a card with instruction to call the shop in the morning. To cut my story short...The people/family at FHT are extremely friendly and understanding. I am from a small Southern hometown where everyone knows or have heard of everyone and the family here reminds me of HOME. They care and that is what matters most when your child is stranded...that they are in the hands of someone that truly cares about their wellbeing!!! Flint Hills Towing is totally AWESOME!!!
I called at 10pm in the evening to inquire about a heavy tow. We ended up going a different direction to a different shop and using a tow service from that town instead. However, the gentleman I spoke with here, was very courteous and helpful. We will definitely call back anytime we are in the area and need help.
