Bought my first home with Mark and couldn’t be happier!! He took the initiative, helped me every step of way & made it look easy. so so thankful he was my realtor!!
Mark Meierdierks has, hand down, been the worst realtor we have worked with. Unfortunately, his colleague, Jacob Casper who we have bought and sold our previous two homes with, has resigned, so we got sent this guy instead. On behalf of Nebraska residents and Premier Real Estate, I genuinely encourage anyone buying or selling a property to save themselves the unnecessary stress and headache that Mark causes with his clients. Let me elaborate; my family and I were looking for a quick sale as we were moving out of state, the initial meeting with Mark and tour of our property went great, Mark had plans- drone pictures, open houses, marketing the area.. We all agreed the price was fair and we were confident the home would sale fairly quickly. Beginning of March, 2024 the house was posted and we began transitioning our move, leaving our full confidence and trust in Mark. By the end of April, we have had hardly any walk-throughs, and a few open-houses, during these open-houses Mark admitted to picking out flaws in the home with potential buyers and luring them away from the property. We did 3 price reductions during this waiting period, as advised by Mark, in hopes that the home would get more views- which in Mark’s words, “As long as my views go up, I’ll be happy.” The house still had hardly any activity, and if there was any, we had to contact Mark ourselves and inquire. The communication Mark had with us was slim to nothing, unless we reached out. Then problems began arising on the property: (water in the basement, downstairs heater going out, drain gutters disconnecting) all issues that, since we resided in the property, never occurred. All issues that Mark would point out to potential buyers, but issues that weren’t documented on inspections. After almost two months of being on the market, and making a mortgage payment for an empty house, while trying to transition into a new home and state, we were desperate to sell at this point. Despite the frustrations I’ve expressed to Mark, and his poor attempt to promote and get activity on our property, he managed to get us an offer- that was 20k under (after 3 price reductions) asking price. Being in a different state and trusting Mark to advertise and sell our home was the biggest mistake we could’ve made. As many times as we wanted to fire him, we unfortunately were in contract with him till September, and there was no other local realtors available in Lincoln. On top of being pregnant, and transitioning with my family to another state, I can whole-heartedly say that working with Mark and this home sale has been the biggest cause of all mine and my family’s stress. I have never had a transaction and process of selling a home be this rough. Mark and his inability to maintain integrity and professionalism with his clients, has not only caused my family and I to lose so much money from the transaction of this home, but has now caused my high-risk pregnancy due to all the stress and anxiety this has caused.
Mark was extremely knowledgeable and supportive throughout the sale of our home! His communication was thorough and entirely positive; we couldn’t have asked for a better realtor experience!
Mark did an excellent job as our realtor!! He was very helpful and answered all our questions!!
Mark is always so accommodating regardless if it is during the week or on weekends and he is a great agent to work with. I definitely recommend giving him a call for all your real estate needs.
Our experience with Mark was top notch from start to finish. He was always ready with an answer to any questions we had, was usually a step ahead of us in the whole process of selling a number of properties that we owned, and also went over and above in working with all the different agencies that were involved. We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience and would highly recommend Mark for your realty needs.
Mark was a real advocate for us while we were looking. Moving from out of state was as easy as you could hope for, and he’s clearly very familiar with the area.
Buying our first home involved complications with yard work, carpet and communication. Hopefully this can be improved for the next first time homebuyers and all future homebuyers so they don’t feel as if they’re mistreated, underestimated, or lack of a better word disrespected.
