We didn't know much about Radcliff but were pleased with Shasta's knowledge and experience around town. Helping us with not only the very speedy closing of our knew home but the good places to dine and have fun. Any time we had a question she'd immediately return my text or pick up the phone. It's been a little bit since we worked with Schuler Bauer to buy our home. Initially I did not want to write a review, I was displeased, but didn't want to leave a negative review....since then I've spoken about this experience with a few people and feel a review may help others with their decision. First, I was paired with a realtor who I felt was not enthusiastic about getting us into a house BECAUSE of our price range. I felt that I was the only one pushing to get us in houses, I was sending her homes constantly over the period we spent looking. There were constant issues with communication, she would take days to respond to simple questions, I never knew when I would get a response from her. When it came to actually buying our house, she pressured us heavily to go with her recommended lender and home inspector. The lender was trying to get us to apply for a specific kind of loan I did not feel comfortable with, he kept telling me that it didnt matter and I would refinance in a year anyways. I kept pushing to get an estimate on my preferrred loan, to which he refused. As the process went on, we decided to go with a different lender, the recommended lender called us and scolded us, he said that we couldnt have two lenders working on closing....I told him we had never told him that we were going with him for closing and he still had not given us an estimate on the loan we requested. He made some vague statements about how horrible the lender we chose was and told us that something would go wrong at closing. I had no idea how he got the idea that we were going to work with him, now of course, I suspect our realtor had some part in that. Initially for the home inspector, they provided a list, I picked someone off the list and then was told by my realtor not to pick that one, and directed to someone who was a close friend of theirs. Since we've had the house *its been less than a year* our entire hvac system has shut down, requiring replacement and we've had a sewage back up that flooded the house, nothing we were warned about at inspection. This has warranted $15,000 of repairs since then. Over and over again I have been asked by repair men and friends and family who I hired to do the home inspection and why I dont seek legal repercussions. We felt taken advantage of as first time home buyers, we felt our business was not as important to them because of our lower budget. If we end up moving out of our current home we will not be working with this company and I have and will continue to tell everyone I know to avoid this company. I only wish I knew what I knew now before I started working with them.

Lee helped us find the perfect home for us while we were in another state. She was always helpful and willing to answer all billion questions we had, and lined up a dozen houses to caravan through our first day in town. Only at the very last house did I find out it was her birthday, and she spent it in the pouring rain showing us houses. Because she understood what we wanted and needed, we found a house the first day and were able to close and move in 3 weeks later. Easily one of the coolest humans I’ve met, and so thankful to have connected with her!

There’s not enough words to describe how great it was working with Lee to find our home in Elizabethtown. She was very responsive and available to show us houses we wanted to see within a day, she even took videos for us to see before we arrived in Ky. Lee is very knowledgeable and truly cares about her clients. It can be very challenging as a military family who moves every three years to find a home, but her help made our transition a smooth one. Our family gives Lee Kershaw an excellent 10/10! Will recommend her to any of our friends moving to the area!
