I am a service connected disabled veteran and I knew the challenges I faced trying to close on a house. I am happily married with 3 children. Every since I got out of the NAVY my family and myself had not been able to get approved for a mortgage. My children were exhausted from years of renting and relocating. I met Kevan last summer 2021 in the search for a VA mortgage. I honestly had ran out of “hopium” by the time we had met. I was pretty sure no one would work with me , my credit, etc. I was totally wrong. Kevan and his mortgage team worked with me. Mr. O’Connell was very honest, transparent, and solid the entire 3-4 months that it took for us to close. When we ran into an issue, Kevan worked it out. There were days where I literally thought he was Christ Jesus himself. Mr. O’Connell will be a lifetime friend to the Hamilton family. His professionalism, creative problem solving, optimism, and care can’t be matched. In the NAVY we’re taught honor, courage, and commitment. Kevan reminded me of that with his intent. He was more than a loan officer to our family. He became a friend during the process. He really wanted to see us get a home. It happened October 29,2021. My family is ecstatic and I am forever grateful. I could go on and on but I’ll stop here. Never say never when knowing this young man He taught me life lessons of belief and hope when all looks grim. He is more than a loan officer. Thanks again Mr. O’Connell. ☺️
