I worked with Mike F. He came to me highly recommended. I just had a horrible mortgage application process with a big bank. Mike promised from the beginning that he would be available, understanding, and solution driven, He delivered on that promise throughout the 4 month long process of contract to closing. Housing around the Anchorage Alaska area can easily be listed and removed due to a contract pending in 3 to 5 days. I found this out the hard way, had no idea about this fact when I arrived. I expected to look around and take my time getting pre-approval after finding a home my family liked. The home I found already had 3 bids in for consideration. I needed loan pre-approval documents very quickly to put in a bid as well. The mortgage company I started with assured me they could get everything done within the 8 hours I had to submit my offer before the 8pm Alaska Standard Time deadline, but I did not hear from them 3 hours later at the end of the Eastern Standard Time work day. That is when my realtor suggested we reach out to Jared and the Movement Mortgage team. Jared called me immediately, and I explained my situation. He helped me get everything done by the deadline. Afterwards we stayed in contact regularly. If there was anything I didn't understand, he would call and explain it completely. He advised me on getting the lowest interest rate for the lowest amount within the lock-in deadline, and he got everything done and ready to close as soon as possible. My friends and coworkers told me that housing contracts take an average of 9 weeks to close here in Alaska, and I would be lucky to get everything done in 8 weeks. Movement Mortgage got my VA loan done in 5!
