AVOID these guys if you can! Unfortunately, I was assigned these guys since my mortgage was recently sold to them. RoundPoint is very good at sending out "welcome" packets and promptly asking for payment, but when it comes to distribution of escrow payments, that process seems to be foreign to them. When I called them to find out when they planned on making payment, they were unaware that there was an issue! They didn't have an answer on when the payment would be made but informed me that it has been "escalated internally within their escrow department". Completely unacceptable. If you care to read other reviews, this is not an uncommon issue with this company. I understand mortgages are bought/sold constantly. Hopefully they don't keep mine for too long. I'm dreading the next dispersant hurdle. Clearly they have issues with performance/image, since they have someone on staff reading these reviews and offering up broad assistance.
