I was referred to Paul at Brookwood mortgage back in March when I was trying to refinance my home and move back into it when my tenant was moving out. I gave him a call and told him my situation and he quickly went to bat to see what he could do for me. At the time my mortgage company was Guild mortgage whom I had for 9 years! So I called them as well to see if they would refinance me. They told me no problem and they would have it done quickly. I called Paul and told him that I was going to use my current mortgage company for the refinance, although him being slightly upset he said if anything fell through to give him a call back and he will be there if I need him. After all the paperwork was signed and appraisal was paid for and closing date set, 10 days before closing guild mortgage called me and told me they wouldn't refinance me. Upset and angry I called Paul to give him the news and beg for his forgiveness to help me! Even though I basically told him to kick rocks, he reopened my file and continued to go to bat for me with companies to get me refinanced. Will he hit a home run and got me refinanced even better than what I was requesting/hoping for! I will highly recommend Paul and brickwood mortgage to anyone looking to either purchase a new home or refinance their current one. It's great to know there are people in the world still that will go to bat and bend over backwards for people regardless of their situation, even if they've never met them in person. They will be receiving a call from me in the near future, and I hope any one of you that reads this review will call them as well if you need anything at all.
