I had a pre-approval from Navy Federal for my home loan when it was recommended I also talk to Chris. After a conversation I started the loan process with Chris while simultaneously proceeding with the loan process through Navy Federal. There is definitely a benefit to working with a local lender vs. a person in another part of the country. Chris was always available via phone, text or email and responded quickly to inquires. It got to a point when Chris and Ameris Bank was so much further along with the loan process that Navy Federal that I decided to stick with Chris. Not to say Navy Federal is a bad choice. I've heard lots of positive experiences with friends using Navy Federal for various services to include home loans. Chris just happened to provide a great service without making us feel like just another number. He is highly recommended for your home loan needs!

Doesn’t get any better than this! In a day and age when customer service seems to be more of a wives tale than a reality, Chris Johnson was the epitome of a mortgage lending EXPERT. He had all the answers to our questions and was well versed on the most up-to-date changes to the particular loan we were applying for. He was able to thoroughly and expeditiously execute our loan setup and finalization, even though it was for a home in another state. He was always reachable and more than happy to sit on the phone and talk through any and all questions we had along the way. 10 out of 10, would recommend! I will definitely be reaching out to Chris if we should need to purchase another home in the future.

Mr. Chris Johnson was prompt, professional, and courteous. Always very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything thoroughly and always called us back promptly, even after hours. He kept the ball rolling and the process was completed in the time frame promised. There were absolutely no surprises at settlement. An excellent job!
