I had my payments paused because of COVID and as the date got close for the payments to me due I called 2 months in a row and spoke to someone who told me I could spread the balance out over 6 months. Today when I call, the lady keeps telling me my loan is over 6 months past due. The loan has been in COVID relief for 6 months. She also tells me that I am not electives for the payment plan her coworker told me I was eligible for on the past 2 phone calls. They will lie to you. I would get anything in writing you can because their phone reps will lie. They also set me up on some thing that would spread my loan out for more years (more interest) and if I got onto the payment portal and try to make a payment they would take that as confirmation that I want to agree to this plan that changes my loan length. So my payment is late because I had to get someone on the phone because I couldn’t pay it through the portal and they are charging me a late fee 🙄 I did not choose this company. My loan got sold to then and I pray it gets sold again to someone better 🙏🏻
