I had never bought a house before. Per the recommendation of others, I went ahead and mortgage shopped between a big bank, a local credit union, and a mortgage lender. Turns out Randy had the best rates available. Cool. After talking to Randy, I realized this guy really knows what he's talking about. He was able to answer any questions I had in more depth than I could fully understand. Randy. Knows. His. Stuff. Ok cool, but I figured Randy would be kind of expensive as a "middle man" of sorts. Turns out Randy gets paid off commission from the sale of the mortgage, not from anything we had to pay out of pocket. So Randy is knowledgeable, "free", and got us the best rate. What's the catch? Turns out there wasn't one. Randy would answer questions anytime I thought of them and was able to keep me updated on what to expect during the homebuying process. Later on, due to problems from the builder, our closing got delayed, delayed, and delayed. Randy was able to pull from his experience and tell us what to expect during this process. While we were panicking and wondering what to do, Randy kept a cool head and maneuvered us through things. My wife and I kept saying to each other that Randy was the best choice we made in our homebuying experience. I don't have any other brokers to compare him to, but Randy was awesome. He never pressured us into anything or made us feel rushed. I really felt that he had our best interest in mind the whole time. 10/5 stars to Randy. I was skeptical of all these reviews at first, but now I understand that Randy has earned them. And I am happy to be one more here telling you to pick Randy and have a big day.
