I was out of work for a few months. Got behind on my car payment. Wasn’t even 30 days late and they froze my account. I bank somewhere else now and transfer funds in for my car payment. Go somewhere else! Plus I had rented a vehicle they can see that on my transactions. Got to GA and they declined my card for gas. They send me an email saying oh we noticed you didn’t check your monthly statement. Like they didn’t notice me renting a vehicle and denying my gas in GA. Plus when they financed my car they added mechanical insurance. The disclaimer said no modifications. My car had mods but didn’t get that paperwork til 6 months into the loan. Don’t bank here. I had my debit card getting turned down. No one called me just did away with it cause of suspicious charges? Call and ask me don’t just cancel my card. Worst place to bank at.

Hello. Cards may be flagged when used outside of South Carolina or your regular spending habits. This is a security measure to protect our members from fraud. This is an automated process, and our fraud department does reach out to the member to confirm payments. If the member cannot be reached, the card is locked as a precaution. Our fraud team, however, does not analyze recent payments to make assumptions regarding the payment's legitimacy. To prevent this, you can set travel notices online so that your card is not flagged. I wanted to add these pictures of my son because of the hard and dedicated work Regina and Candice has done for our family. I was quickly able to secure a loan to fix my car. My son has had a variety of medical issues, his entire life, so being without a car was quite devastating. She worked so hard because she knew he had an appointment appointment that week for an MRI. This MRI was to help determine his need for surgery as my son was losing his ability to walk. She took the urgency as if he was personally important to her, even though she is never met him. Everything she did meant so much to me and I felt safe in knowing she was going to do everything possible for our family that she possibly could, and that she did. If I emailed called or texted, she immediately responded. She was with each update and kept me posted throughout every step. She and other team members made me feel we were important to her, as well Candice and many other members. We actually were even able to make it to the Special Olympics that following weekend. This among many other reasons is why we have banked for years and will continue with Carolina Federal, credit Union, and will continue for years after today. They feel like friends and take care of you like family. I just wanted to say thank you for everyone’s support especially Regina, I wish I could remember her last name but in the Greenville branch. Truly from all my heart, I didn’t know what we were going to do with out our loan for our son. Thank you, Melanie and family.

I have been a member with them since I was a baby. My entire family has. My mom over 30 years. I used to love them soooo much, but I don’t care for the staff anymore. I love Regina and Lauren and Ms. Sharon with ALL MY HEART!!! It just seems everyone else makes everything more of a hassle now and I haven’t had any issues getting loans, but I absolutely HATE the way they treat the rest of my family. I get rules and regulations, but they should at least reach out to help people who’ve been loyal to them for their entire lives! The family environment they used to have has disappeared. Just feels like a business now.

Update: We just got an auto loan from Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union and I have to say it's got to be the best experience I've ever had taking out a loan.
