Field, Dana, Kathy, Kevin Tripler and Jervay were amazing! The underwriter was the worst we have ever experienced in our 20 years in real estate and having had many VA loans personally. The underwriter was unable to think outside the box using a real-world perspective, asking for ridiculous items throughout the last hours approaching closing. In all the previous VA loans we have obtained, we had never had to produce to amount of documentation and supporting letters this underwriter requested. They need to be retrained or seriously consider a different career path - they are a huge detriment to the Lennar mortgage team. We signed the same letters of explanation and supporting documentation several times during the last week leading to closing too….all due to this terrible underwriter. That is when Field, Dana, Kathy and Jervay put on their super-hero capes, analyzed the ridiculous requests the underwriter was making and saved the closing. If it wasn’t for that team, we would have cancelled with Lennar mortgage and brought in our own lender. Kevin Tripler went above and beyond for us, since we were living in San Diego, he took videos of specific models and parcels we were interested in and answered our many questions. Because of Kevin, we were confident in making our home selection virtually, writing on the property before physically walking it first. As previously stated, we have been in real estate for 20 years and always tell our clients to physically view a property before writing. Because of Kevin’s patient assistance, we had no doubt we were making the right decision for ourselves. He is a Grade A+ sales team member. Isaiah was fantastic during the walk-through portion. Very thorough and personable….even kept his cool when we all noticed a garden snake had snuck by us during our exterior walk-around and met us inside the garage. Ha ha, it was a good laugh and great memory.

mortgage applications are as pleasing as root canals or colonoscopies. however with Mr. DeVries, I found the experience quite different. affable and a down to earth gentleman who understands the angst involved. he was able to explain things that helped assuage my anxieties. lennar makes a good product, and dealing with Todd made the whole process nice and certainly worth it

As for the mortgage team you were great, but my experience with the other Lennar entities were well below substandard. There were a lot of defects and we had to request multiple times to correct. The house wasn’t cleaned or power washed. We haven’t moved in due to the cleanliness of the house. I will not purchase again nor recommend Lennar homes to anyone.

Amanda Robinson and CJ Jones of Lennar Mortgage were outstanding. Their dedication, their guidance and counsel throughout our application process was extraordinary. They were always available to speak with us; answering questions; addressing our concerns and went above and beyond the call of duty. I can't praise these two women enough for everything that they did to assist and walk us through this process. Lennar Mortgage is very lucky to have them on staff. They are an asset to company, and the only reason I would recommend Lennar to anyone is because of my experience with Amanda Robinson and CJ Jones. Thank you, both, for being so wonderful.
