Brandon at Leeward Point Mortgage went the extra mile for me and my family. He made himself available to answer questions that we had at odd hours to accommodate our busy schedule and explained everything in detail before hand. Brandon made us feel like family and made the whole experience of buying a home seem less and trouble free. My wife and I are very pleased with his services, and would recommend him and LPM to our friends that are looking to buy a home.

I wish I could give 10 stars!! Michael and his team were absolutely amazing!! I could not have asked for a better broker for my first home purchase. Michael was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He updated, advised and guided me through every step in the process. I never felt like he was just there to close the deal - he also cared about my "wallet" and experience and my experience was 💯 satisfactory!! I would highly recommend this team!!!
The process of homeownership can be overwhelming, particularly when it comes to the loan process. Michael was exceptional at guiding me step by step. He made the entire experience palatable. He never once balked at a question and he always took more time to breakdown a topic and make sure that I understood. He took the time to understand my finances and made sure to adhere to the parameters I set. Even after the purchase was completed, he made sure to go through all the documents. Mike is thorough, approachable, and available during the entire process and even after. I can't thank him enough for making this a smooth experience!

Mike and underwriters wasted our time. I was told a house was not eligible for USDA, when it is. Then we happily complied with another type of mortage to get the house we really wanted. I was told my income was not enough, then it wasn’t, then it was again. Everything on my end was given in a timely matter. There is no justification for waiting 2 days before closing to ask for additional documents from my CPA after hours. If anyone wants to see screenshots, emails or text messages, I would be happy to share my awful experience. No one should have to wait a month and half (while under contract) for additional information 2 days before closing. I hope no one else has to go through this. Leeward Point Mortage should be more efficient, honest and reliable with their customers.

Unfortunately, as was discussed with you prior to going under contract, a change in job status does affect your ability to qualify for a mortgage, especially when those changes occur days prior to close. Additionally, our underwriters had concerns that income documentation provided had been altered. Our team did inform you of required documentation. Because that was not received, we were unable to proceed with your approval. Best of luck moving forward.
