SharonView Federal Credit Union used to be a great credit union, not sure what has happened but the service has definitely gone downhill for some time now, I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of customer care.

I have been trying to set up online bill pay for 2 months with zero luck or feedback from customer service. Customer service is also impossible to reach via phone.

At first this credit Union was great. Then after I lost my job, I started making less money and soon started working for myself. The next thing I know, my checks are not clearing because they said there's a mandatory 5-day hold. And even though the money came out of my account, they still held the check. By the end of this I ended up with over $320 worth of late fees because they refuse to release the money that I already deposited in my account because it was a mobile deposit and refused to hear me out when it came down to the reason why. I used the branch at University, and the ATM didn't work and the bank manager was happy to refund these fees. Because the ATM took my money and did not credit me for the deposit. There were other people in the bank that were having the same issue. She kept saying I wish I had more people or a better ATM give me one or the other. The customer service here is not customer friendly. Each time I try to explain this to the customer service Representatives on the phone, they didn't care. Telling me that unfortunately we can't refund any more fees because you've already had three refunded. The three refunded fees were not my fault it was because of a faulty ATM machine.The customer service here is either serving board members or is serving some type of other interest because they do not care about anybody that may have less money than they did at one point. I am so disappointed in this credit union. If I wasn't so afraid of retaliation I would report them to both the better Business bureau and the cfpb.

Have a new auto loan through Sharonview and it’s the most ridiculous process to be able to make a payment from a different bank. Maybe it would be easier if there were a branch within a 30 min driving distance but there isn’t! Will be refinancing with NC State Employee credit union!

This place is a joke! Nobody can seem to do anything there as they farm out a lot of stuff and then blame the other company for them not being to do their job. Steer clear!!
