Had a very unprofessional and bad experience with them. My contact person was Patrick. I applied for the FHA because Patrick said with my credit score not being so good due to loss of work during Covid that would be best. My honme is paid for 100% by the way is valued st approx 1M. After spending my whole day and part of the night and completing forms, Patrick told me thier Appraiser would get in touch. He took $500 from me. The Appraisal was a serious joke. The guy eye balled everything, took photos from door ways, gave a report that was not accurate. For example he gave photos of an attic, yet he never climbed up my attic. He said my windows were wood, we had recently installed brand new energy saving PVC windows. Our home Appraisal was waaay below market value compared to our neighbors. I tried to.contact Patrick by phone, texting, emails for updates on my application and Patrick was MIA. From the day he took my application and $ 500, he did not reach out to me. I'm disgusted and very upset with the way I was treated by Royal United Mortgage. There is no Royal treatment here! I have not received A SINGLE email from them on my status. I think they should learn the value of communication. They didn't have to give me the FHA, BUT It's important to tell me why they are not moving forward with me after profusely assuring me I would get the money in 10-14 days, and thatI I qualified. Took my $500 for a poor Appraisal and nothing to show for it. Now they are quiet as a church mouse. I would not recommend this company. Waste of my time and money!
