Got 5 days to closing and rate lock expression and underwriter said they miss calculated. Stay away. Uneducated and not willing to help.

My experience with Sage mortgage was a pleasant one. Paul Horner and Caroline Jones did a great job letting me know what I needed to provide and making the process go very smoothly. They were always available whenever I had any questions. They had the best rate at the time with the lowest fees. I would definitely recommend using them.

Paul Horner and Caroline Jones were both wonderful as they walked me through the process of re-mortgaging my second home to get a fixed-interest mortgage. This will take many dollars off my long-term debt and give me peace of mind. I found them always accessible, and they explained each step of the process. In addition Paul found me a lower closing cost and a better rate for my loan than anyone else was able. I appreciate their thoughtfulness and thoroughness SO MUCH! I had never heard of Sage Mortgage, but I will definitely recommend them in the future!

Unfortunately things didn't work out with my loan, due to my current financial situation, but I really appreciated the time and effort put in by Paul Horner. He guided me nicely through the process and made sure he was giving me accurate information, something I was really burned by with Rocket Mortgage, who I used in the past!! I will certainly get in touch with Sage again, and hopefully Paul, in the future once I'm in a better position to be approved without needing a co-signer.

I worked with Forward Mortgage Lending via Sage Mortgage to refinance our home. Sage Mortgage did not make their best effort to close the loan within the rate lock period. As a result, I had to pay an additional $650 fee. Everything else went fine but I'm only giving two stars because of the unnecessary fee.

don't waste your time with this company, waste of time, much better choices, got a better rate and better service from Rocket Mortgage.

I would highly recommend using David with sage mortgage to buy or refinance your home for you.
