We had the pleasure of working with Dave and Audrey. The dynamic duo! They walked us through the entire process, answering every question along the way. We were a bit delayed due to unforeseen paperwork but they kept in touch with us and even assisted in coming up with solutions to fit our needs. It was seamless and well communicated. I purchased my mother's home with Mike Fernald at Peoples Bank. I just wanted to take a few minutes to express how helpful, kind and courteous Mike was to me when I was shopping rates to purchase her home. I contacted 4 different mortgage companies, shopping rates, Mike was the only one who actually talked to me as a person and not a number. I was very surprised with his kindness since I am a Peoples Bank associate. In my past experience with refinancing a previous mortgage with my employer at that time. There wasn't any customer service from the employer or on the transaction. I sort of felt like I was bothering them, the treatment was "Oh OK, let me do this because you are an associate." So, in saying this, I was sort of anticipating the same reaction when purchasing my mother's home. To my surprise, the entire process with Mike and Melody White was above and beyond on the customer service and we actually closed ahead of our initial date we were hoping to close by about 11 days. Using Peoples Bank to purchase our new home was one of the best decision my husband and I took. Due to another bank dropping us at the last moment, we found ourselves in a predicament in the middle of selling and buying a new house. By accident I found Peoples Banks on the internet and check them out. Like what I saw and my husband agrees. We call very early in the morning, and even thou everybody was busy that day, they make a time for us and help us out. We supply all the requested paperwork right away and by 4:00 we have our loan going to the underwriter. A process we where told could take 6 weeks where done in 3 weeks and we where able to close on our dream house with very little off time.
