I recently bought a house with the help of Financial Concepts Mortgage. Home buying can be extremely scary, but the wonderful people at Financial Concepts made the process easy and helped me throughout the whole way. They go step by step with you on the whole process, making sure you know exactly what is going on. My lender, Jerry, was extremely helpful when I was buying my house and made sure any problems got fixed, helped me get the house I wanted, and made the whole process simple. I would highly recommend them and will for sure be using them for future investments and referrals.

Angie Baughman was referred to me by my agent in Oklahoma City and she has been a treasure! First off, she was able to get me a pre-approval letter extremely quickly, which was desperately needed in the property that I was trying to acquire. Because of this, we were able to get in before they even started showing and land the deal. I was simultaneously interested in another property in Texas and gladly found out that she was also licensed there, so we were able to work together again on that deal. Angie is fast, efficient, and was available to answer questions that I had - the best in the business!

Aug 16, 2022Thanks so much for taking time out of your day to leave us a review.
We used them to purchase our lake house in 2019 and they were great. I do not know what happened between then and now, but the experience was wildly different. They sell all their mortgages to Penny Mac and I would have had lower fees and a better interest rate going with them directly. My big complaint is how unresponsive they were. Several texts and emails were just straight up ignored, and I am not an incessant contacter. The most egregious example being their failure to re-run our credit as requested on June 6th after some credit changes that would have improved our rate. I did not find out for 3 weeks and at that point it was too late because rates had risen again. I was told it was too late. When I reminded James I had asked weeks earlier he told me it wouldn’t have made a difference. I never believed that but was out of options with rates already skyrocketing and closing days away. They also convinced me since I am unemployed only my husband should be on the loan, even though my credit is 75-100 points higher. I think that was just out of laziness because our old file still had my husband’s info and they would have had to actually try to collect mine. All of this will cost us THOUSANDS over the life of the loan. The bottom line is a mortgage broker’s job is to get you the best rate possible, and they did not even try. 3 years ago I would have recommended them to everyone. Now, I would warn everyone to stay away. Maybe they made so much money in the 20-21 real estate boom they think they don’t have to care anymore. That was my impression.
