This is an awesome place not only to get fuel, he folks here are very country friendly and this place is very clean. Lots of gift items, and dont forget to stop in apple barrel.

*Update June 5th 2022* Only thing that's changed are the gas prices. First time to see a Sapp Bros Travel Center. Comparing this stop to the many Love's locations on our way out West. Very clean inside with your usual convenience store/truck stop items. The restaurant inside looked busy and if you wanted a quick bite, there's hot food to purchase at the checkout. Many 18 wheelers and construction trucks coming in and out of the parking lot that keeps this stop busy.

This used to be a shining beacon of a rest stop with state-of-the-art heated seats to look forward to in the bathrooms. They no longer have the heated toilet seats which was a huge bummer when I visited with subzero temps outside. My bum was really forward to those seats. You can still look longingly at the plug next to the toilet and remind yourself what you’re missing. Besides that they do have a good selection of snacks and trinkets and a very extensive blanket section.

Loves Sapp Brothers. But since the floods in 2011 when they rebuilt their care and attention to the professional truck drivers went down hill. The services, friendliness, availability of items and driver amenities have all gown down in size or disappeared. They are not solely focused on the "traveler" And also, Sapp Brose (Apple Barrel) you need to update your Menu and create a whole new menu. The same items for several years makes people stop coming in. You can only handle the same food choices so much. And the menu isn't all that big for quantity of options/choices.
