Very knowledgeable & fair.
Steve is very knowledgeable and always gets your approval before he does any work to your vehicle.
How come you would charge someone with disability $500 instead of just letting them know they were out of gas and oil? Taking advantage of someone who doesn't fully understand is really sad. Shame on this company I will be telling everyone I know not to do business with this place. Should be shut down honestly.
My kiddo is a student at Stout and developed braking problems that couldn't wait until her next trip home. I did an internet search for reputable repair shops and Steve Connell seemed to have good reviews. I'm glad we took the car to him. He is an excellent (over) communicator. He will explain things until your ear falls off. I appreciated his attention to detail. One of the parts he ordered wasn't up to his standards so he sent it back. Because of that, it took an extra day to get the job done, but I came away with a feeling that my kid's car was well cared for. In terms of prices, I don't know the Menomonie market. He replaced both rear brake calipers, had to disassemble and clean one side, new pads, brake fluid and bleed the lines, and reassemble. Just over $1K. He also looked at the front brakes but determined nothing needed to be done. His phone communication was excellent with me. Kept me up to date daily. I feel very good that my kid's car was in good hands.
