No longer provide emission testing. Discovered May 2024.

May 22, 2024Karen, removing ourselves as an emissions testing facility was a very tough decision. Primarily tough for me because I feel we, as always, made the experience as seamless and easy as possible for our customers! I would like to share some information about Opus, the company running the emissions testing program, and how we feel they were taking advantage of our family business. On average, we tested roughly 80 cars a day with some days exceeding 120! Each test takes roughly 5 minutes. Adding registration in adds another 5. Simple math would show, 80 cars times 5 with 40 or so registrations times 5 adds up to 10 hours! That means an employee was running tests all day long. Opus pays $2 per test which is a fraction of the cost to employ the person running the tests. Opus also took advantage of all the time and resources we put in behind the scenes such as installing the booth out front to make the process fast and convenient. Above and beyond, we were the Waukesha County Technical Assistance(TAC) Center. The State relied on us as their top TAC center for the toughest emissions related problems across southeast Wisconsin. We helped countless people in very tough situations get to where they needed to be so they could drive their vehicles. All of this caused us to fall short on completing work that had been scheduled weeks in advance. At the end of the day, we are trying to give our customers the best experience possible and the emissions program was hindering that. Based on this information, I kindly ask that you reconsider your review.
Car wasn't starting on a Sunday and it felt jumpy while driving before. I dropped it off with no notice and got it back 2 days later and it was driving smooth. Unfortunately I went to two other mechanic places before this one and they weren't helpful. There's alot of bad mechanic places out there, but Jerry's helped me out. Jerry's is a mechanic place you can trust.
Jerry's is an auto repair service that you can trust!! I had a muffler issue with our Lexus. Jerry's provided me with two options on how to repair it along with pros and cons for each option and cost. They provide me what they would do if it was their car. Great and timely service!! I would recommend to any one who needs trusted auto repair service done.
Awesome service, staff, and business! As an update today, they are not doing emissions testing due to contract issues with Opus
I had tires replaced and all was great! However, I learned that the tires I have are "Directional". And one of them was installed wrong. I explained and they had me come in and fixed it at no cost! Wow, now that is the way to treat a customer. I'll be returning!
Very professional auto service team! I highly recommend! They installed a 5" Rough Country suspension lift and new tires for me, we are thrilled with the outcome!
