Great place, nice employees! Car was in and out within the day! Student discount for college students as well.
I took my car in for an inspection for damage to the driver side door. After their diagnosis, they recommended replacing the whole door for $800 and I told them I’d do the repairs myself. When I went to pick up my car, the window was rolled down and they claimed it was stuck in the down position. They also claimed the door didn’t latch anymore. They said they didn’t want to give the car back since it was a safety issue but I insisted I’d take it. Turns out the window works fine and the door latches. Second Street Auto Clinic, and Mike specifically, are liars who use predatory practices.

May 23, 2023Sean, I'm sorry that you didn't receive the service you expected. When your associate brought us a vehicle with a damaged door and asked us to diagnose it, we explained that this often requires disassembly of broken parts which cannot be properly put back together. Perhaps I didn't word it well, but at no time did I attempt to withhold your car from you - I was trying to get the point across that the car was not safe to drive with a door that doesn't shut properly and that your safety could not be guaranteed unless we fixed it.
