Called to make an appointment and the receptionist was very rude. And blamed us for her issues when we tried to make an appointment. Was hung up on 5 times. VERY unprofessional.
Homestead has been honest, fair priced, and prompt. All good traits of a good auto shop.
I was so sad when my mechanic "Scott" retired. I went on a search for a new honest and talented mechanic. There are lots of talented mechanics out there but honesty is hard to come by in any profession. I made an appointment to get some nagging annoyances addressed at Homestead Auto. I needed to wait 10 days to get in because they are busy. Trust me, the wait is worth it. While working on my car they noticed the ball joint was really worn out. I agreed to have them replace it because I had been noticing it wasn't feeling right. They took are of all my vehicle's issues and replaced the ball joint in one afternoon. I felt I the charges were reasonable. I have found my new go to place and I recommend it to anyone looking for a mechanic.
My husband and I trust this mechanic completely. We drive 30 minutes both ways to take our vehicles to Homestead and I refuse to go anywhere else based on many awful or subpar experiences over the years. Brian is a great and honest mechanic.
