First time here. Prices competitive. Clean store. Everything easily marked. Great selection. Produce fresh. Friendly people. The list goes on. Defiantly will shop here again. I’m 40 miles away. Thank you!
As someone who lives in Eagle River year round, it is nice to have a store like Trigs that does a good job of offering a rounded selection. I'm sure it can be a difficult job to keep everyone happy especially with large volumes of tourists that come to the area. Produce Department is nicely kept up and the prices are OK. Pay attention to the weekly flyers for the deals and a customer can save some money. Deli has a wide selection and some of the items are made onsite which are quite good. The Bakery is probably my least favorite department. Nothing taste fresh here. Everything that I have tried is dried out and taste day old, etc. I avoid it now. Meat department offers some great deals if you shop regularly. Just have to ignore some of the meat department employees who are not very friendly or customer focused. As far as Customer Service, it is very hit and miss. I can see that having to deal with the public on a daily basis can impact an employee's attitude. I have watched many customers acting entitled and self serving. There are many Trigs employees who are very friendly and helpful and then there are others that are not. However, it's a customer service job and Trigs could do a better job overall. The biggest negative is that Trigs Corporate has decided to stop accepting cash in the Self Check Out Lanes. I've heard many rumors why but none of them seem to be cost effective. Before I could do my weekly shopping and be in and out in 20 minutes using self check out. Now I have to wait for a check out lane to be opened and that can take 15-20 minutes of waiting in line. Even in the early morning hours. With the employee shortage, you would think that Trig's would want to have less people using the check out lanes but I guess not. I choose to pay cash as I have had many problem with credit card fraud in the past. I reached out to Trig's management for a comment but no response. Eagle River is lucky to have two grocery stores in the town. I hope Trigs continues to serve the local area.
Nice grocery store, expensive but it's a tourist town, so everything is expensive. Has a coffee shop and hot food bar.
Trig's is a good place to shop. Good selection of items. They have excellent meat as they have their own smokehouse. Fresh produce every day. *Highest grocery prices in the area!
Are go to in the North Woods, all of your grocery needs as well as a spectacular liquor selection. A very friendly helpful staff also go a long way in this day and age.
I moved to Eagle River, Wisconsin, from southern Oregon three weeks ago. I heard Trig's was expensive. Imagine my shock when I see the price of a particular brand of Organic eggs at $13.49 a dozen. I paid $4.49 three weeks earlier in Oregon. I don't understand how 1/2 n 1/2 can be over $10 and eggs $13 right next to regular prices. But it is what it is. I discovered Kwick Trip for my eggs, butter, 1/2 n 1/2, pick n save for other items, and Amazon prime for bulk. The meat and cheese deli is nice, but the salads are all made with loads of sugar. Overall, I love Wisconsin and will just have to get creative when grocery shopping. Pick N Save is cheaper overall.
This is a great store! Fully stocked, clean had everything we needed.
I ordered a couple bouquets for a delivery for my family in St Germain this week. Analise(sp) is a humongous asset!! Thanks to her and her wonderful eye for flowers, and she delivered! Best ever!!
