I've been taking my car to C&M Auto for years. Charlie is very knowledgeable and clearly explains any work needed. Pricing is fair and I never feel like he is trying to sell me unneeded services. Waiting area is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!!

C&M Auto practices a predatory model. My 18 little sister was in town, and we noticed her car was making a bad sound. Mind you, this car is from 2008. Turns out it was the rear wheel bearing. She calls C&M to see if they can get her car in for service ASAP. Long story short, one rear wheel bearing hub assembly and two rear rotors somehow cost her 1100. rear rotors, none of these parts were OEM; all after-market parts. The front desk person stated they were from Napa Auto. The one hub assembly was 223, which was the most expensive price around by double compared to advanced Auto, AutoZone, and O’Reilly, and they still marked the price up by almost 100%, charging her 380 for just the part. Do not send anybody who is not knowledgeable about automotive regarding cars. When I asked about the pricing, (you could quickly tell he was annoyed that I would even bring it up) and, he just kept repeating they charge list price. So, naturally, I contacted Hyundai to find out what the part would cost. They informed me it would be 250. One rear wheel bearing, two rear Brake rotors, and 10 Lugnuts should not cost more than 6 or 700 dollars. I regret sending her there and not having her give them my number to talk to me directly; this was definitely the wrong place to try to teach my 18-year-old sister to learn how to deal with the stuff. We will never use this place ever again.

Thank you, Charlie and Monica, for having a wonderful auto business whereas a woman I can feel comfortable knowing I will get my car fixed without the dealership slickness. . Growing up with my mom finding a mechanic who not only understood what needed to be done to her car but was honest and treated her with respect as a woman customer. I always wanted to be able to find that with my cars over the years. . When I bought my Prius in 2013, It came with a very long warranty and oil changes via the dealership. Which was great for me. . Then when I moved to WI in 2020, I didn't want to have to always depend on going to a dealership due to the way they try to convince woman "things" that are "wrong" with their car to make an extra buck. . Then my husband told me to go to C&M Auto Serices. I went there for an oil change and liked the customer service. . Then my car got "sick" I was afraid the only place that I would be able to go to would be a dealership and knowing they would take advantage of it being "sick". . Then I took the car to Charlie's business, C & M Auto Services. That's when I felt like my mom did all those years ago. Charlie spoke to me about my car. I felt at easy when He told me how I didn't do anything wrong and wouldn't have known that this would of happen until it did. He told me what was going to be done and what might have to be done to fix it.

I highly recommend C & M Auto Services. Called them on a Monday morning to have my car checked out and was able to bring it in right away. They diagnosed the issue the same day and it was fixed and returned by noon the next day. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable. The office is also extremely clean and organized. When you walk in, it doesn't feel like a typical auto shop.

I know this review is a bit late but wanted to put it out there last winter my block warmer on my truck went bad drove it down there c&m auto drove me home and picked me up it was extremely nice of them they did a great job replacing the warmer and at a far price and vary Knowledgeable vary good guys there would recommend them

My Vehicle needed muffler repair and I had two other auto shops tell me they were unable to help. However, Charlie at C&M Auto in Port Washington was able to diagnose the problem and custom fix my muffler/exhaust in just a few days. He communicated clearly throughout the process and the final bill was very fair for the work that was done and I was more than happy with the services…I’d recommend this place without any reservation!
