Melody, Brandon & Jody went out of their way to help this tourist. I discovered my 82 Chevy van had no brakes. After being denied service from a closer shop, I called and they recommended Kumbier towing who did a meticulous job towing my vehicle to Northstar. Early the next morning my master cylinder was replaced and they cleaned up my rear brakes too. The bill was reasonable and we were back to enjoying the Minocqua area! Well done!

Used NorthStar when while I was working in Wisconsin for 2 months. Need front brakes. They got me in the same day for an inspection and the next to fix the brakes. They treated me with respect and gave me a fair price. Highly recommend

I would leave zero stars if I could for this place. we have been giving Minocqua tire and auto business for 20+ years and always got good service. the new owners that are running it first of all were extremely intimidating If not harassing on the phone telling me that I have to pay almost $900 in storage fees because a family member of mine did not pick up their 5 x 8 small utility trailer for a lawnmower that has been behind their shop for a little over a month. We would’ve had no problem paying for a reasonable storage fee. But after yelling at me on the phone telling me I’m abandoning my trailer if I don’t pick it up by the end of today and pay $900 +$300 they charged for a new hub assembly. I normally do not leave many reviews, but I feel it is my obligation to inform people of a business in my experience that treated me extremely unprofessional and very, very rude. I hope nobody else has to go through what I had to experience.

Overall a great experience! Very friendly staff, quick turn around time and competitive pricing. I stopped in for a simple oil change and they found my rear breaks needed replacing. They were able to get everything done the same day which was outstanding. Definitely recommend anyone in the area to come here for all your auto repair needs!
