Things have been great. The people are great. I believe Cliffs is an honest place to do business with. I like the service I get on my cars. I look forward for many more years dealing with Cliffs.

After a lack of support at a dealership, it was wonderful to experience Cliffs customer service! They very patiently talked me through their diagnosis of my car problems and presented a variety of options for repair, including budget-friendly options where possible. I will definitely be returning for ongoing maintenance! Great Experience!

We take extremely great care of our customers and their vehicles, we are up front with immediate needs and recommendations and honesty is the only policy. When someone wants to leave a review that is the opposite of the truth and treats up like we were I think the public should know that too. I did not have good experience here. I feel like this place may take advantage of people that don't have much car knowledge and it left me with a really uneasy feeling. I called and asked if they do just break pads knowing most shops now a days want to do your rotors as well. I was told yes we do, so I was excited since I'm going on a week long trip and just needed a quick fix until I get back. The day of my appointment I received a text messages stating I essentially need all new front and rear breaks and it would cost me almost $1300. So I called them.... My car is a 2018 it's not old I maintain it well it's under 100k miles. I explained I only wanted 3 things the front breaks, an oil change and a tire repair. I also explained I was upset that they told me they do pads on the phone and now are telling me they will not.... So rather than going into the numbers and explanations I was given I will get to the point. My car is front wheel drive maybe my drums are going bad maybe not since I do not trust these people who knows but it's not super important at the moment and not what I asked you to look at... If my front rotors are bad new rotors should not be your first option don't let a shop tell you that. Many times they can just be resurfaced and be fine, but rather than receiving an honest outlook on my car I was told I needed to have them replaced or they would not do my brakes. I didn't argue I really didn't say much because for me I need to be able to trust the people working on my car so I just said ok fine I'm coming to pick up my car. When I arrived I was told I was being charged for the oil change and tire repair they already did... Funny since I said I was picking up my car but whatever and It would cost $143 which I questioned because that is a bit pricey for what they did. I was told a tire patch is $45 which is laughable I said fine whatever I want a bill printed. Miraculously my bill then only came to $120 with more normal prices. My point is it really seemed like they saw a woman's name assumed I had no car knowledge and tried to bill me for as much as they possibly could. If you want an honest shop you can trust go to Oshkosh Autoworxs. Jake is a stand up guy and who I normally go to but he has been very busy and I needed work done quickly and thought I would try somewhere else. I will not trust Cliffs ever again with one of our vehicles. As far as their response to my review I think it speaks for itself, but thank you for publicly speaking to me the same way you spoke to me about my vehicle and showing people how you handle your business. Maybe instead of "waiting" for a bad review you know will probably come in, you could spend your time giving people honest estimates for work they need done. Tell me why was resurfacing my rotors not an option if you don't price gouge? Did you even mention that option to me? Just the same as your accusing me of being rude when I barely said anything to the people I talked to. The only things I said are exactly what I said in this review. I was honest and expressed that as a first time customer I was concerned you take advantage of people that may not have car knowledge and that I thought $45 for a tire patch was a high price. I paid my bill and left. I never said your estimate was unreasonably priced for the work you were claiming my car needed. What I said was after my experience I didn't feel I could trust your estimate, meaning I don't believe or trust it all needs to be done. So if my honesty was seen as rude then I'm sorry you didn't like my honest perception of how you conduct your business.

We were actually waiting for your review. I am sorry you did not like our pricing, we performed the oil service and tire repair and gave you an estimate for other work. It’s ok if you are not ok with us doing it for that price. That’s your choice and we respect that. Our store actually has a female manager so taking advantage of anyone let alone a woman is not how we do business. What I will say is that how you treated our staff was extremely rude. We do not want your business. We do hope you have a great day and find another shop that works for you. Again to your response we hope you have a great day and find a shop that fits your needs. We perform top notch auto repair at a fair price with some of the best technicians in the industry that comes at a cost. The way you wanted your brakes serviced was not the proper way to perform a brake service. However as you spoke you obviously know more about this industry than we do so if you ever want to purchase a shop you go for it. I feel being in the business for 40 years we have great customers that trust us and the correct tools and knowledge to make sure repairs are performed correctly and backed with the best warranties in the business.
