The secret to a great drive is a great mechanic. I took my VW to Jason for an inspection. He told me what's wrong (covered under warranty) and what I should look out for. No nonsense. Turbo diesel god. He speaks to them. One man show is a wealth of knowledge and good mechanic. Worth it to bring the car here and have it fixed once, rather than over and over, very hard to find good TDI technical experience these days.

Jason is fabulous! Prices are reasonable, work is quick, communication is on point, he is honest and straight forward - I have only had positive experiences with Jason. Highly recommend!

Came in to get my timing belt fixed as well as the air filtration system cleaned out. My jetta was barely hitting 60 coming in and now Jason got her singing! He was so generous in fixing so many little details—if you have a TDI in the midwest, go to Jason!

If you have a TDI this is your guy. Totally worth the drive out to his shop to have him check things over. I have never had a mechanic text me photos and detailed explanations of what he's finding. Our most recent repair we had him swap out engine mounts suggesting the car would be 'buttery smooth' afterwords, and he was totally right. Recognizes the car we have is older so is willing to volunteer minor fixes on a whim if it's not a lot of trouble. I showed up early to pick up the car and in the 15 minutes while I was there he found another minor issue, dismantled a few items, plucked a part off a dead engine and fixed a brake(?) issue I didn't even know I had brewing. Mentioned a couple times some extra tuning we could do to improve performance and gas mileage but we didn't have time to do this time around so will likely have done the next time we go in. Be sure to call before going. He's a one man show, but the show is great and the sequels are just as great. LOL.

I had read good things about this place on the VW TDI Forum, and so I had my 120,000 mile service done here, including timing belt replacement. I was able to sit in his garage and watch him work, and he explained everything well. Jason did excellent work, and his prices are lower than the local VW dealer. I will use him again for sure.
