The more service work I get done at either Homan's(Dodge or Chevrolet) the less impressed I get. I was charged for a tow and what was supposed to be warranty work on an 06 Ram I purchased there(extra parts and labor were added without my permission), they tried charging me for parts and labor when the tech at the Chevy location busted my radiator cap on my 12' Silverado bought new. (they tried to make it right after the fact and a 2 week run around). Which after those experiences I took my business elsewhere for my needs. Back in October, my wife mentioned a grinding noise coming from the rear tires of her 2018 Trailhawk we bought through Homan's new. After inspecting them and taking it for a quick drive I determined it was her brakes(metal on metal). Paging through the multi-point inspection the vehicle receives during oil changes and rotates the past 4 services the brakes were checked off as good and with no wear....... Two weeks ago her trailhawk went in for an oil change and tire rotation at the dealership. Again a multi-point inspection was done as part of this service. Afterwards she was complaining to me that her windshield has been very smeary. I checked out her wipers and they're falling apart! I checked out the wiper fluid reservoir also, and bone dry! According to the multi-point inspection, the wipers and tank were good and full........ My wife takes her vehicle to the dealership and pays dealership prices to get it properly serviced and we trust that everything is done correctly. Why should we pay dealership prices or trust the dealership when I have to go out and buy and install new wipers on my time when the dealership claims they're good? I'm guessing the tech just checked everything "good " down the line.......this time and before......makes me wonder how good the belts, battery, and tires really are. Driving in winter time and on slushy roads having false intentions on good wipers and full wiper fluid doesn't seem smart and safe to me. It seems like a good way to get into an accident and get hurt or possibly kill someone from a dirty windshield reducing visibility, all because someone didn't do their job. It's my wife's vehicle so she can do what she wants but I hope she makes the same smart choice as me and takes her business elsewhere, especially for her safety.... ‐---‐--‐--------------------------------------------------------------- Update: Tim the service manager called me very apologetic about the situation. He's going to talk to the techs and trying make everything right. I give him credit for that, we'll see if things get better and can give a better review......

They are efficient and pleasant

Ryan was very helpful, honest, and fair with my trade in, and they had exactly the Durango I've been looking for and at a great price. Andrew had all the paperwork ready for me when I came back and the Durango was cleaned and parked inside waiting for me. I highly recommend Homan Auto Sales in Waupun, just ask for Ryan!
