I've been going here since before they moved. Lost track of them, then found them again at the new location. While the fella behind the desk isn't always Mr. Friendly, I've always received excellent work on my vehicles, and 100% honesty from the staff. I will always take my cars here. They've earned that from me. So take that in mind. You don't always need an artificial smile behind the desk to have good work done. And I'm grateful they caught a cracked tie rod before it became a serious problem. I'm a big fan of Silver Spring Automotive.
I had a couple minor things to get taken care of. They got me in, asked great questions, and had me on my way. Always feel taken care of!

May 24, 2023Thank you for the great review!
I have question? How much you charge to replace wheel bearing, for Subaru Impreza? Thank you .
They were able to help me on very short notice. Thanks Rich
Very friendly and professional. Made evaluations, repairs, explained courteously and finished promptly
Great friendly service at a great price! They were able to book me a short notice appt for a quick tire rotation and balancing. Thanks!
Silver Spring Auto takes great care of their customers. They are very honest, thorough, and know a lot about how to service cars.
I give 3 stars for the good customer service..but as far as services I really didn't get none. The technician possibly did a half diagnose and assumed I need a engine.if I pay for a diagnose I expect to know exactly what I need to get fixed

Oct 24, 2023Hello, I am sorry that you were not happy with our service, but we did only charge you half of the amount that we quoted you for the diag. The engine was diagnosed as having no compression and needed to be rebuilt or replaced, so you did get what you paid for. We could have told you that and still charged you the full diag price that you agreed to. As was explained to you when your car was here, if you wanted to know what caused the lack of compression then we would have had to remove the engine and take it completely apart to be able to tell you exactly what failed. We suggested to not go this route because the car was all smashed up and just the engine tear down would have exceeded the value of the car, not to mention the engine rebuild/replacement on top of that. We were just trying to save you money by not taking unnecessary steps.
