They gave me a very detailed explanation of why they thought a particular part of my car was broken. I felt they were trustworthy because they explained in writing how they diagnosed the part and the logic behind it. They are a bit expensive but the transparency is nice. For example, they will charge a few hundred dollars for a $60 part. I think all mechanics are just expensive these days, so they aren’t out of line. They have a good price for oil changes though, so maybe it depends on what you are having done.
