I cannot speak for the bodyshop but the sales/finance staff at this location Dale & Jeremy are fantastic friendly people and they put in a lot of work to get us into a car fast and made the process of buying so much less stressful. We have bought 2 cars from them nothing but a terrific experience
Took my car here last year for repairs for some small scratches after backing into a column in a parking lot. Overall, not a good experience. The car was there for a month (!!!). They had a miscommunication with the insurance company on next steps which caused the car to just be in their parking lot for a week. Then they had back-and-forth with the insurance company. They claim my insurance company is hard to work with, but I find that hard to believe since it is Geico (a large national company). At that point, I was getting very frustrated with the situation and had an exchange of words with one of their employees who was trying to tell me after 3 weeks of nothing being done how they are the best body shop in town and provide great service. Eventually, the general manager got involved (Jesse I think) and then things started moving very fast. In the end, they did a nice job repairing the few scratches that I had but it took a month and was very expensive (about $2400).
In over 40 years of car ownership, my experience with Zimbrick Body Shop to repair my BMW was the single worst experience I've ever had. The estimate they gave me for a back bumper panel repair was worthless- once they had the car, they came back with a new estimate over three times higher than the original one, then another estimate after that even higher, basically holding me and my insurance company hostage because the car was now in pieces. The "repair specialist" lied to my face about the extent of the damage - I know because another garage had serviced my vehicle (for a different issue) while I waited over three months to get into this one, and their computer diagnostics showed nothing wrong. Zimbrick Body Shop on Stoughton Road is either incompetent or criminal. Stay away.
The staff is very friendly. Dominic was extremely helpful today, and it was very much appreciated. My BMW is looking great!
My Audi ended up here after a collision over two months ago. I believe they are the only local Audi body shop. I received unacceptably poor customer service. Simple questions (e.g., which parts on the list are used and which are OEM) remained unacknowledged and unanswered for two weeks until I escalated to a manager. This delay adds additional rental costs. Today I learned, not from Zimbrick, but from the other driver's insurance, that my car repairs are complete. If you can avoid this shop, I recommend going elsewhere.
I'd give zero stars if it were an option. Dominic is the boldest-faced liar I have ever encountered. After having my vehicle for three full workdays on a very small (~$1300) job, I was informed that my taillights were now broken. I had just replaced them and am positive it was caused by Zimbrick. Rather than fight, I agreed to pay them to fix the issue they caused. It got worse from there. After Zimbrick had my vehicle for four full workdays, I called and explained that I needed my vehicle or a loaner for the next day. Over the phone, Dominic assured me that my car would be ready late in the afternoon. I arrived a half hour before closing and the same person, Dominic, told me my car would not be finished and that they do not offer loaners. I explained that HE was the one who assured me the car would be ready that day, but he didn't care. He essentially laughed at the misery he caused and said that he did not say that the car would be ready. Amazing. For any insurers reading this, you may want to second guess using this shop. The whole reason I was having my car repaired was due to a sub-3mph rear-end collision that barely left a mark on my rear bumper. Yet, Zimbrick still found a way to create a supplement on the claim. Beware!
Do not go here for a repair. Took my car in for an estimate and they scheduled me for an appointment for repair 2 months later. Called about appointment 3 weeks before hand to be told I did not have an appointment! So they scheduled me another appointment for 2 weeks later. I received a phone call several days later to be told they over booked appointments and they could not get the car in until February 2023. I talked to the service manager who was really rude and who tried to tell me I did not know what the Automobile business was like, wrong I work in the automobile industry! I decided to go to a different Auto Body shop who got my car in to repair 10 days after their estimate. I called Zimbrick back to cancel my appointment with them for February 2023 and was told again I did not have an appointment! My car is all repaired and looking like new again after being T-boned. I also found out they were going to use used parts, and after I was told they were going to replace the quarter panel, but they amended it to just be repaired! Do not waste your time with these guys!!!!!!
