Absolutely incredible! Had great communication and was able to get me in quickly when he heard I needed to travel. Was thorough and found that my brake pads needed to be replaced and charged a fair price. When I picked up my car he showed me the brake pads and they were getting dangerously low! He made me feel very safe as a young woman and I will be sure to go back!

Would recommend. Got my breaks fixed/ and a hub, belt replaced, blower motor replaced, AC up and working, tune up, oil chang and car computer secured safely (it was a mess) all done promptly and for under 1400. Would recommend. He's also so friendly and respectful of young women. I know it's hard to feel comfortable sometimes when you're a lady under 30 but he's very respectful and cool. Thanks again!

Brakes, calipers, and rotors were completely fried. He fixed it in a day and a half for a reasonable price and kept me posted the whole way. I'll never go back to a dealer owned shop again! Also, he couldn't be a nicer guy, and the dogs (y un gato) are a joy!

My favorite Auto Shop The owner is a great person who has always been nice and polite to everyone he comes into contact with. Service is always great and my cars are in great condition because of him. I’m not going to anyone else while I’m in Madison. This is the only guy I will see (after trial and error with other places) and I recommend him to everyone. If you’re lucky enough to get in, it’s amazing service but because of that, he’s pretty booked out. This guy knows his stuff

The music is is too loud. They have two dogs that are very hyperactive so it is scary to get down of the car. The owner can't heard anything because the loud music so he started yelling saying to get out of the car because he can't heard you. Very silly and rude.

Mr. Zapata is a perfect example of why I love small business. He is willing to engage at my level to explain things, and wasn’t afraid to tell me that an old car wasn’t worth fixing. Just a visit to his shop gives you insight into his method and mind as a mechanic. This shop is a MUST for Subaru owners, as they are his passion… but I’d trust him with anything that he’ll work on (all but EV and turbo engines, but he’ll do non-powertrain on those too). My favorite detail: he put an Outback engine in a VW Microbus!
