We stopped at Chet’s on Monday, August 14, shortly after they opened, with the battery gauge on our truck reading below the L mark. It sounded as if the alternator was going, so driving home to Minnesota wasn’t an option. Matt was able to work us into the schedule and figured they could look at it later in the morning. We left the truck, got a ride from their driver back to our hotel for breakfast and settled in for a potentially day long wait. Matt called at 9 a.m., they had diagnosed the problem as a likely gauge malfunction and not anything that would prevent us from driving home. Their driver picked us up and we were on the road home by 10 a.m. Everyone at Chet’s treated us well and went above and beyond to help a couple of stranded out-of-towners. They were honest and the treatment we received from them had us recommending that our son, who lives in Madison, try Chet’s for his vehicle care. Thanks again to everyone at Chet’s!
