I have an 08 duramax, was have trouble with low fuel rail pressure code, listen to what he has to say about after market injectors, I was out of town when I put in first bank of injectors, didn’t know of any local diesel shops or of Kennedy diesel at that time, purchased them from nationwide parts store. Got home went to same parts store change and purchased the other bank of injectors, still had trouble with code, so I opted to replace CP3 purchased that from a local diesel shop in my area, which is a great quality shop also, had them check my old one they confirmed it was bad, but after installing I still had same issue, pulled all injectors out and took them to the diesel shop, they checked them for me, 3 where over fueling, 2 where leaking, 1 was under fueling, replaced them with Bosch injectors, problem solved, this diesel shop says the same thing as John Kennedy does about aftermarket injectors. I have personally emailed John for advice and have ordered tools and parts from them, everything has been spot on with them, if I didn’t have a quality diesel shop close to me I would have ordered my injectors and cp3 from Kennedy Diesel.
I got a mail order tune from them and everything worked as expected
Top notch service. John is always willing to help and share his knowledge. Pleasure to do business with.
This was a website visit. The site is well laid out, and the products I was interested in were easy to find with adequate descriptions provided.
I have a 2006 Duramax LBZ. Had trouble with it going into limp mode while towing anything with the dreaded 0087 low fuel rail pressure code. I stumbled across Kennedy diesel on forums and this guy was a life saver. He explained everything to me and I bought a new computer for my truck. Not even 10 minutes to change the part. That was 4 years ago and still no issues. If you have a low fuel rail pressure code do yourself a favor and just contact him right away before you try to throw a lot of time and money at it. He knows what he is talking about.
They have no understanding of the term customer service. I would do business elsewhere if I were anyone looking at this company.
