Brought my car to have my exhaust flex tube replaced. Spoke to the mechanic who said he can fix it, just needed to buy the new tube to be welded on. Left my car with him during the morning and later in the day he called to say it was done. Mechanic made sure the car was off the lift before I came so that see I couldn’t examine what he had claimed to do. Turns out all he did was wrap some adhesive tape around the bad flex tube to try and stop the leak. It did temporarily stop making the noise but only for a few days. Had to take my car to Madison, WI to have the flex tube replaced and not taped up. If you can’t do something, simply say that and don’t try to scam people.

Terrible highway trap. Would have been cheaper to tow my vehicle to lacrosse and pay a real mechanic to fix it. Had my vehicle for 2 weeks to do a job that should take one afternoon. Refuses to answer phone or call me back FOR DAYS in a row. Absolute criminal........ If saying you will call Me back the next day and not calling or answering for 3 days is what you call honest then I must not know honest. If charging 400 for parts that cost 200 is honest. Telling me you ordered parts on mon when in fact you waited until Wed is honest? The fact you think you gave me a deal is insane. I called several other shops and they all said you were taking me for a ride. Maybe you should not be a mechanic if you can't make any money without over charging people. Maybe instead of trying to defend yourself on Google you should be on indeed hiring real mechanics. I can see by the reviews I'm not the only one that has had this issue with this garbage shop. 2 shocks and 2 shackles cost 1300? And takes 2 weeks?

Oct 23, 2023I never kept your vehicle from you I also gave you $100 off the bill. Shops all around including dealerships are 2weeks or more behind before even looking at a vehicle you had your back in 2 weeks that is pretty good turn around considering your job wasn't a basic job that takes an afternoon to do rusted out shackles. Honestly you should of taken it somewhere else considering you called every single day when I told you from the beginning it wouldn't be able to be fixed right away. I'm a honest person everyone I deal with is more than happy with there services and I'm definitely more of a real mechanic than your going to find at about 90% of shops. I may not know everything but I am honest and work with ppl the best I can. I'm a one person owner operator out here making a real living on being honest. Very rare to find at automotive repair as it is. So to claim I never answered your call everyday that you called obviously sometimes I'm busy I don't have time to answer calls every minute of the day because I'm actually working. Pretty sad you can give someone a deal and fix there vehicle right and still get 1 star. What a joke
I received a detailed inspection of my vehicle examining noises in the front end that I feared may pose safety risks. I found the consultation advice thorough and helpful. I was able to safely drive the vehicle back to Canada. This was a relief as I was able to enjoy my vacation and save money by repairing it in my home city.
Stopped in on short notice looking for a repair. The gentleman I spoke with was friendly and very knowledgeable. Thanks for being a great local shop!
