Attempting to be a loyal customer, I had called them when my car didn’t start. Was told my starter needed to be replaced. I was charged $850 and was advised to get my flywheel fixed soon when I picked up my car. I said I would in the near future. However, not even a full 24 hours later my car wouldn’t start again. They towed it back and expected me to pay another $1600 to fix the flywheel. I was quoted less at another place so I went to pick up my car, they still charged me $75 for the second tow. There was zero sympathy for it not being fixed correctly the first time and I feel completely taken advantage of. I am beyond frustrated as my car has less than 62,000 miles and I paid over $900 for less than a 24 hour fix. Response to their message: It is not inaccurate. You did not tell me that it needed to be parked immediately the first time I picked it up. I got my car back on Monday (10/16) which you had said to get it looked at sooner rather than later not once did you say it needed to just be parked or that it was a possibility that it wouldn’t start within the next day. Then, Tuesday (10/17) you had to pick it up and tow it again. After I said I needed to pick it up because I can’t afford to pay $1600 to fix it you said that it could be driven and then parked. Not once was there a mention of a payment plan or any sort of option like that. That would’ve been nice to know. You have picked and chose the information you gave me this entire time with no sympathy to the situation. The only inaccuracy is the information I have been told. If you genuinely cared about me being able to have my car fixed a payment plan would have been offered or advertised to me yet this is the first time I’m hearing of it. Convenient.

Nov 24, 2023This is very inaccurate, the car was towed in as a no start from a gas station. Your old starter failed and permanently damaged the flywheel in the car. We advised you that the car would likely not start again if the engine shut off with the starter lined up on the flat spot on the flywheel. Unfortunately on this specific vehicle, this involves removing the transmission which is very labor intensive. You chose to pick the car up without fixing it properly because of the added cost, which we totally understand. How ever the car should have been picked up and parked somewhere until it could be repaired properly. A day or two later we had to tow it back in because it did indeed shut off with the starter lined up on the flat spot! If the flywheel would have been replaced in the first visit like we suggested, this could have all been avoided. We were 100% transparent with all of this from start to finish. If the cost was the issue, we do have programs in place to help funding.
