I was traveling to N. Wisconsin from Florida when my car broke down in Kenosha Wisconsin. I also had a small trailer I was towing. I called the closest mechanic to where I was (on Google maps), and HE referred me to Car Corral. He only did foreign cars... He also referred a tow company that could tow my car and trailer together. Anyway, John at Car Corral heard my breakdown story and it looked like I would need a new alternator. Because I have a 4 wheel dr car, it would be 6 hours+ to change it out (plus new belt and armature). The quote was $1350 and since they were closing in 3 hours, it wouldn't be ready till the next day! I didn't know what I'd do! I was going to play a gig (I'm a musician) and I couldn't figure how I could spend the night (tight budget). Well....this happened: 1. John talked his guy into staying late to finish it for me! Above & beyond! 2. When they started testing everything, they discovered it was just a loose cable causing the problem. The alternator was OK. But it still needed a belt and armature. But they could have it ready in an hour or two. So this brought the total down to $500! I was overjoyed! But here's the thing. I was a stranger from out of down in dire need, and I know very little about cars. I was "ripe for pickin", as they say, since I was desperate. But instead of taking advantage of me (and they easily could have), they went above and beyond with integrity, and professionalism, and restored my faith in auto shops! LOL So yeah! I recommend them highly! Really cool staff too! Thanks again John and the Car Corral gang!
