The tires I requested, when I scheduled tire install service appt, are discontinued. I was notified upon arrival to appt. The clerk suggested differ tire, which increased the cost I anticipated. The clerk listened to my concern and I felt I was heard. I agreed to go with other tire option and Pomps Janesville, WI location received tires same day and replaced same afternoon in roughly an hour. Although the price increased, I was satisfied with how the clerk responded. After checking out, another clerk apologized. I recommend Pomps Corporate removes discontinued tire makes from their website, so customers can assume desired tire and service price on website and not be surprised when arriving to appt. Pomps Janesville, WI crew was great!

I just moved to Janesville, so I’ve never been to the tire store before. I wanted two Michelin tires for my truck. The sales person, which I will not mention his name, gave me a price over the phone. What would cost me with tax, and everything. I wanted one of tires switched around to my spare He knew it, which was included in the price. Two days later the tires come in and they put them on. He wanted another $23 for putting the one tire on my spare. I said, “no way” we discussed that over the phone on what I wanted and you gave me a confirmed price on the two tires which was $642. He backed off, and gave me the price we agreed upon So, my first experience there wasn’t very good, I would not think a place like that would do something like that. It just left a bad taste of my mouth. It really has nothing to do with the extra $23, just the fact that he was just trying to “up price” me on the transaction. if I wanted something like that, I would go to a discount tire place, which they do.
