Sep 24, 2023Thanks Steve!
Absolutely amazing customer service. After calling around the area to multiple places they were able to help our crew get back to work after a blown tire on a piece of equipment.

Tire Gods, and Godess,😉. Thanks foe the great work AGAIN!
Called to get a quote for 8 tires to be swapped on and 8 tires to be disposed of. No balancing needed. Was told “if they arent bought here im not interested”. I understand they make easy money on tires bought here obviously, but why not just give me a quote? For an experienced mechanic with a tire machine thats an hour job plus the disposal fee. Easy $250-300 in an hour
RIDICULOUS! I brought a set of tractor tires here and asked them to drain and give them a once over and let me know what they needed. THREE MONTHS LATER….someone sent my wheels out for a $550 repair WITHOUT my authorization and tried giving me a bill for $880. The wheel new is only $300. Just a joke. Save your time with another scam shop. The guy that owns the place is cool…. Needs to hire decent help.

May 24, 2023Jake's account of his interaction with my shop is not accurate. On November 16, 2022 Jake brought in four tractor tires on wheels. All were flat, and the rears had been previously filled with calcium chloride liquid ballast. Calcium Chloride is highly corrosive, and had been leaking onto the steel wheel causing one wheel to be rusted completely through in multiple places. He asked us to repair them so that they would be usable. At the time that the tires/wheels were dropped off I informed Jake that since we were in the middle of harvest season we would not be able to get to his project until our work slowed down. About January 15, 2023 we repaired the two front tires and one rear tire by pumping the ballast solution out of the rear tires/wheels, then dissembling, inspecting the tires and wheels and installing new innertubes in both front and one rear tire. The rear tire/wheel that was corroded beyond being serviceable was sent to a vendor to be repaired. On January 19, 2023, at 7:20pm (after business hours) Jake left a message asking about the status of his tires. The next day I was not at the shop so Adam, my tire tech returned his call. Jake did not answer the call so Adam left a voice mail telling him that one of his wheels needed to be sent out for repair, and that we were expecting it back the end of the following week, on or about January 27, 2023. Jake did not return the call to our shop to ask about the cost of the wheel repair, or to tell us not to have the wheel repaired. On January 30, 2023 Jake called asking if his tires were ready. I told him that his wheel was back and that everything would be ready for him that afternoon. He was glad to hear that, he said he needed the tires and wheels back because he was taking the tractor to Arizona the next day. That afternoon about two o'clock I called him telling him everything was ready. He said he would be there shortly, then asked about the invoice total. This was the first time he asked what these repairs would cost. I told him the bill was $888.58. He was surprised to hear that the repairs would be that much, so I broke down the invoice by line item. The largest expense was the wheel repair at $550. I sensed he was upset by the unexpected amount, so I offered to reduce the invoice amount to $800, provided he didn't use a credit card. (The credit card fees would cost me $31.10) A short time later he called me from a nearby highway intersection, telling me he would be there in a few minutes. About five minutes later he called to tell me that he had changed his mind, and now did not want any of the tires repaired. He apologized, saying that he would not be picking up the repaired tires and wheels, nor would he be paying the invoice for the work that he had ordered. He was upset about the cost of the wheel repair, so I suggested that he pick up the other three wheels and tires, the repair costs of which were apparently not in question. He again apologized for backing out of the ordered work, but repeated that he would not be picking up or paying for the work. He then hung up the phone. I sent him an invoice, accompanied by a letter explaining his obligation to pay for the repairs we had done for him, but I have received no response. I would welcome a phone call or a personal visit from Jake to get this settled. With regard to Jake's claim that he can purchase a new wheel for $300, I am unaware of the availability of this wheel. However, If Jake were to bring in this new wheel we would be willing to mount his tire on this wheel at no additional cost. Regarding Jake's remarks about my staff- I'm the owner and the person that he had contact with. The only contact he had with Adam was the voice mail that Adam left for him, so it's unclear why he would disparage Adam while pronouncing me "cool". I've been in business for 37 years and take great pride in the long term relationships I've built with my customers. Questioning my integrity is completely uncalled for.
Always super helpful and fast. I've gone to many tire service places, but Gutschenritter is the only place I'll go from now on. Tractor tire service, in particular.

May 24, 2023Thanks, Michael! Always a pleasure to hear from you!
They got this bolt out of my tire! I'm happy! Great service, fair prices! **Update: We've been here with our vehicles multiple times since my original review. Mark is always kind and courteous, fair and hard-working...he'll educate you on what he found, fixed, and what to expect next. Today he even seemed to be operating solo and still found time to squeeze us in and fix my tire. My kids loved Sally the cat too. 🐈
