My stepson took his car here last month after it began leaking oil. Mechanic said "the main went out." I asked main what, he just said main seal, lost all oil, no compression, engine is junk. Didnt offer to show us or offer any repair option, only he already had a replacement engine for it. He demanded I pay the almost $5000 in cash or he would have to charge taxes and CC fees and he needed $3000 up front. Whatever, son needed his car fixed and he would give a 1 year warranty. Everything was fine until two days ago, when the car stranded my stepson again. After a new battery from Walmart, it ran but had charge light on- I suspected a bad alternator, maybe was part of replacement engine and shpuld be warranty. Stepson called (no one answered for a couple hours) to tell them and he instantly wanted almost $500 to replace it, didnt offer to look at it first or that it is not covered under his "warranty". Decided it wasnt worth $500 and I told son to wait until I can get up to FDL and replace the alternator. To my utter disgust, the alternator had actually fallen off! Of the 3 bolts, 1 was missing, the 2nd was snapped off in the engine block and the 3rd was half worked out. Obviously someone used an impact to snap one off and just didnt tighten the other 2. I didnt have time to extract the broken stud, but put in 2 new bolts with loctite blue and put the belt back on myself. This place is doing shady business and did not take responsibility or even consider taking a look at it first. Avoid.

My husband and I have 2 cars and one of them I drive our kids to and from school everyday. This one my husband took to Tenorios to get the brakes plus other things fixed. Robert showed us estimate and so we left it there. We were using our back up vehicle that day. Guess what, alternator belt fell off. Robert was kind enough to take care of us in our time of need. The parts he put in our vehicles are also under warranty so that's a plus. I would recommend anyone with vehicle troubles to go to Tenorios.
