Called Don at On Scene Rv Service as we were headed to Egg Harbor Wi. The front compartment hinge on our motor home had torn out of its fiberglass mount and I had duct taped it in place temporarily. While this type of repair was not something Don had attempted previously, he stopped by that evening to examine the problem. The next afternoon we spent two hours together planning and manufacturing a solution to a really tough fix. After arriving at the campground in the dark on our first outing with our brand new RV travel trailer, the fresh water tank fell to the ground as it was being filled. We contacted the manufacturer the next day and were told to get someone locally to check it out. At the campground office, they highly recommended Don from On Scene RV Service. He stopped between calls and assessed the situation, drilled holes to drain the cracked tank, and provided detailed information that could be passed on to the customer service rep along with pictures we took. It was determined that our RV needed to be returned to the manufacturer's service dealer 260 miles away for a comlete tank replacement. Don came back the next morning, removed all connections to the tank, removed all of the damaged underbelly material and secured all wires, cables and hoses so it was safe to take the unit back to the dealer for service. Don was knowledgeable, attentive to our needs, totally explained all the work that was needed and why. The cost was also very reasonable. Being away from home when service is needed can often be very difficult, but in this case we were very glad that Don was there to help us out!

On vacation camping in Door County this week & started having electrical issues in RV. We found On Scene RV Service in the area & gave him a call. Don returned our call very shortly after & was helping us out in less than an hour. He tested everything & it was our converter. Although he did not have one to replace ours he took a picture of the model # & said where to order one. He showed my husband how to install himself to save some money. Don then went & brought us back his battery charger to use until we leave so we would not have to cut our vacation short. Super nice guy, will do what he can to help you out. The original roof fans on our 2009 Jayco TT went out at same time. Also, the plastic RV kitchen faucet began leaking into our cabinet. All were replaced and upgraded. Don’s service was professional, expert, timely, interactive and very cordial.. Highly recommended.

Don is the best! We were in a tough situation when the lift for our pop up broke. Don was able to meet us at our campsite to help solve the problem. Although he had other calls before us, he stayed in touch and we were still able to enjoy our vacation while waiting for Don.
