Tim is very good and you can trust his work and professional aptitude. I would recommend his garage to any one that needs work done on their vehicle to have it done there
Beware!! Tim sold me a car he said was sound. I took it to the repair shop and found out the frame was rusted through right by the tire arm. Repair shop said it was too dangerous to drive because the wheel could easily turn perpendicular to the road. I called Tim assuming he was unaware of the issue. He just said, "It's your problem now!" I said, "Don't you stand by your vehicles? I bought this less than three days ago." He said, "That rule doesn't apply to private sales." He must consider his shop a private sale. So buyer, be wary. Should you have an issue, Tim will not stand behind his word and therefore, probably not behind his workmanship either!

May 23, 2023Hi Kristine. Tim's South Side Auto does not offer any type of used or new car sales. This sale was not through the business. This sale has nothing to do with Tim's South Side Auto and was a personal transaction. The vehicle purchased was a used car we had intentions of using for our son, but we no longer were in need of the vehicle. The vehicle was being stored at the business location, but was not sold through Tim's South Side Auto as a business transaction. I am sorry that you have experienced some car maintenance issues since you purchased the vehicle. I would be happy to take a look at the vehicle if you could contact me to set up a time. Thank you.
Highly highly recommend Tim’s South Side Auto! Excellent work at a reasonable price. Tim is very straight forward and honest. So happy they were recommended to me!
