I am very very very pleased with the service I received from Volkman's. The mechanic is very easy to talk to and knowledgeable in what he fixes. I was well taken care of and price comparison is compatible if not cheaper than most shops. I plan on having all my car repair work done here. Diane Kruger

Great service!
Best shop in Winona. Will only do necessary repairs and not take advantage of people just because they are not mechanics themselves and don’t know what the problem is or what it should cost to repair. Today I called them saying I had a wheel baring or ball joint or something wrong going on by the wheel because it was making a weird noise and vibration. He said the were booked solid for 3 weeks. I said “well I guess I’m just going to have to push it for 3 weeks then and hope for the best”. To which he said “why don’t you just bring it in today and I’ll spin it around the block and tell you if that is going to be a wise decision”. I brought it there and he took it for a spin, came back and then took a look at the wheel and told me it was neither a wheel baring or ball joint. I was missing a lug nut and the others were loose. So in the end he could have blown me off but instead he took a look that day and saved me from maybe losing a tire while driving and lord know what could have happened and didn’t try to take advantage of the fact I was wrong about what the issue was and didn’t even charge me for the time he spent even though he squeezed me in between jobs. A+.
This is a very small shop and not at all fancy. But the 2 mechanics, who are brothers, are honest and reasonable in their prices. They definitely get the job done right.

He knew the problem right away
2 stars because he did know what he was talking about buttt. Saying a 3.5 hour job at best is a 5-6 hour job at least turned me away. A driver side actuator on a chevy impala doesn't take that long granted gordys tried saying the same thing as well. Highly advise dresbach auto if your into 100% transparency
