I had called Dee’s because my check engine light came on and wanted to see exactly what it was and if they could fix it. I brought it in and they determined what the problem was and estimated about a week hopefully to get it completely repaired because one of the parts was on back order. I went with them because they claimed they could get it done the fastest and that’s also why I was willing to pay more thinking it would get done in a timely manner. It ended up taking almost a month for me to get all the repairs done, mainly because they broke/cracked a few of my valve covers and that part was also on back order. I asked if I could drive it with broken valve covers or if it would cause farther damage. They said it was fine to drive, turns out it was not. They got the new valve covers on (which they did cover the cost for) and then somehow I then needed a new O2 sensor because it had “worn out”. At that point I stopped doing service with them and went to Fountain City Ford which they replaced it for two times less than what I was quoted at Dee’s. I did not appreciate the fact that I had to come back multiple times because the issue I came in with was not getting resolved. I don’t trust that they know what they’re doing and I don’t trust that they’re honest. Everyone I worked with was nice, but I never plan on bringing my vehicle there again. It’s more expensive and I don’t trust them doing honest and quality work. I meant to post a review awhile ago, this service was at the end of 2022. Hopefully they have gotten better.

Dec 24, 2023Hey Kaitlin, this is Jake the owner, I do remember your vehicle being in the shop. It did not go well at all and we could not win for you. Unfortunately hind sight being better than foresight I believe a lot of this was due to the manager that was running the store at the time. Although I do not expect to see you again and nor do I blame you after the experience you had with us. I did end up removing the manager and the current manager and staff are much more experienced and operating way better. I again apologize for you having this experience and hope that your vehicle is running great now. Thank you for your review.
