I knew she needed a minor repair, or so I thought, so I contacted my regular mechanic to get the CV Boot repaired before I left. Unfortunately, he was not available but mentioned Johnny at Krug’s may be able to fit me in. I called to make the appt. And they were able to schedule me right away. He inspected the van and sent me a detailed review of all the repairs that would be needed over time. He broke down what was immediate, what we could do our selves to save costs, and what could be repaired in time. As it turned out, it was not a CV BOOT. I needed a new rack and pinion for my van! After digesting the sticker shock, Johnny spoke with me and reassured he would save money wherever he could. More importantly, he was able to have the vehicle repaired in two days! He was very thorough and took the time to explain everything along the way. When we went to pick up the van, I was very excited to hear he was able to save about $500 in parts and labor.
